Oh Creaciones del Senor, April 9, 2018

Hola Mamá y familia!!

Sounds like you were able to finish off a great spring break! That´s awesome that Connor is heading up to Canada for his PhD. I´m really excited for him. He´ll have to get to know the family of one of my former companions- Elder Sparks. I´m pretty sure he will be up there close to where they live.

That´s also really awesome that you could all go to the temple open house. In the first half of my mission we would visit the temple about every 4-6 months, but recently the temple presidency set some new rules that don´t allow us to go to the temple. Since that time I have remembered often how much peace I have felt in my life when I have been able to attend the temple. One of the best decisions that I made was to start going to the temple weekly when I was living in Provo. I know that it allowed me to do what God wanted me to do in my life.

We have been visiting with Franco and Nicolas still, and Nicolas has been progressing a lot! We passed by every day possible this past week, and Saturday when we arrived we gave him a blessing because he was feeling sick. When we got to his house Sunday morning the rain was pouring down but without batting an eyelash he said, "Let´s go." threw on a jacket and rode his bike in the pouring rain with us.

During the meeting we were able to speak about ministration in the first hour, the law of sacrifice in the second hour, and then we had a beautiful testimony meeting. While there were few people at the meetings (14 people total), I have very rarely felt so incredibly grateful to be in church and be able to partake of the sacrament. I truly felt like the church was a refuge from the storm and that I was able to become a little bit more like my Savior Jesus Christ.

I´m so grateful for the sacrifice of my Savior Jesus Christ. I have been so blessed by my Savior and the millions of other people that have sacrificed of themselves so that the world can be a more Christ-like place to live. I hope that I can be willing to sacrifice of myself so that others might come unto Christ and be saved. I´m excited to keep visiting with Nicolas and I hope to see him and many other people experience the blessings of the atonement in their lives by repenting and being baptized in the name of Jesus.

I love you all! I hope that you all can continue to follow our Savior daily!

Much love,
Elder Lambert

2. An inspirational note that I found randomly in a pamphlet that we don´t know how it got there- in english it says, "Brothers, with the Melchezidek priesthood accompanied by virtue, there is no miracle that can´t occur." A tender mercy of God.
